Kathmandu, Sept 11: Government is planning to roll out five special packages to make the economy more vibrant.
According to the sources in the Ministry of Finance, under the first package, necessary work related to recovery and rehabilitation is underway in the aftermath of the damage caused by the Bhotekoshi flood.
In a function organized in Kathmandu on Friday, Minister of Finance Swarnim Wagle mentioned that studies have already been carried out to provide relief and restoration for the flood-affected industrialists, businesspeople, and the general public.
He said preparations are underway to come up with a 10 to 12-point policy reform plan within a week to address the sluggish capital market under the second package.
The Finance Minister shared on the occasion that preparations are underway to announce a special package soon to promote and revive the private sector, saying it will be taken forward as the third package.
