President Ramchandra Paudel has prorogued the ongoing session of both Houses of the Federal Parliament, effective from 12:00 midnight on Friday, October 2, upon the recommendation of the Council of Ministers.
According to a press release issued today by Krishna Bahadur Shahi, spokesperson for the Office of the President, President Paudel prorogued the current session of both Houses in accordance with Article 93, Sub-clause (2) of the Constitution of Nepal, following the recommendation made by the Government of Nepal, Council of Ministers, on September 29.
