Kathmandu, September 3: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index rose 4.66 points to close at 2,542.77 on Thursday.
The market recorded a total turnover of Rs 3.465 billion from the trading of 12,163,763 shares. A total of 40,692 transactions were carried out, with 346 scrips traded.
According to the market data, 145 stocks advanced, while 123 declined and 10 remained unchanged.
WNLB leads gainers
WNLB recorded the highest gain among the listed top performers, rising Rs 85 to close at Rs 1,055. Its price increased by 8.76 percent.
It was followed by CKHL, which gained Rs 48.50 to close at Rs 615, and ALBSL, which rose Rs 91.10 to Rs 1,190.
